Are you a skilled Service Technician with experience working on construction and industrial equipment? Join our Industrial team on a full-time basis and take your career to the next level.
You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive, and highly skilled team, working across a range of premium machinery in a dynamic and rewarding environment where no two days are the same.
With a rapidly growing customer base, we are seeking to expand our team to match demand. This role is based at our Townsville Industrial branch, conveniently located on Woolcock Street, Garbutt.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assemble, install, and commission agricultural and construction equipment, ensuring all components and systems are fitted and functioning to manufacturer specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate workshop equipment, tools, and machinery to support servicing, repair, and fabrication activities.
- Perform machining and fabrication tasks as required, including cutting, grinding, drilling, and shaping metal components to meet repair specifications and tolerances.
- Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including hoses, pipes, and fittings used in heavy machinery.
- Interact with OEMs to resolve issues and share learning throughout the team
- Engaging with customers and making it easy for them to achieve their goals
- Collaborate with parts and sales teams to deliver high quality results
- Work safely and efficiently within job guidelines and timeframes
- Completing service processes and documentation for every job
- Contribute to a positive, can-do team environment
About you:
- Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter Mechanic, ideally with Heavy Construction Equipment experience
- Solid hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills (highly regarded)
- Openness to participating in overtime opportunities
- Ability to travel and stay overnight if required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Team-focused attitude and pride in your workmanship
- Welding experience – an advantage
