About You
You are an experienced financial services lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience & Expertise:
- Demonstrated experience advising on derivatives transactions, including OTC derivatives, trading documentation and associated regulatory frameworks
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating derivatives documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support documentation, confirmations and related transactional agreements
- Proven ability to manage complex derivatives projects and negotiations from inception through to execution
- Strong understanding of financial markets, risk management principles and the legal and regulatory environment applicable to derivatives trading
- Experience providing strategic legal advice to trading, risk, compliance and business stakeholders on derivatives and financial products matters
- Ability to identify, assess and manage legal, regulatory and commercial risks associated with derivatives transactions and trading activities
- Strong transactional management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Experience supporting financial services, banking, trading or investment businesses on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with senior business leaders, trading teams, risk functions and external counterparties
- In-house derivatives, trading, banking or financial services experience would be highly regarded

- Proactive and accountable, taking ownership of matters and driving them through to completion
