This exciting opportunity is a permanent part-time role facilitating the inpatient groups at Ramsay Clinic Macarthur. The applicant needs to have demonstrated confidence in group facilitation and the ability to engage patients across age groups and a variety of mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, personality disorders and trauma-related disorders. There may also be opportunities to work as part of the outpatient/day program team. The successful candidate must be available Fridays and some weekend availability would be highly regarded.
You will also be participating in the ongoing development of these programs and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support all patients under these unique programs. As part of the Allied Health team, you will take a patient centred and dynamic approach to the care of our patients.
Skills and Experience
You will have the ability to plan and organise skills groups, along with a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment. To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and flexible team player with a high degree of professionalism.
You will need to demonstrate:

Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent mental health care professional registration such as Counsellor or Mental Health Social Worker

Training and experience facilitating group therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Ability to facilitate and deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility

Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload in a complex therapeutic environment

Familiar with Microsoft Suite
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly salary ranging from:
Psychologist - $37.60 - $58.19 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW HPSS EA Year 1-8)
Clinical Psychologist - $56.41 - $69.07 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW HPSS EA Year 1-5)
