Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing freight forwarding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting 1UP Cargo's international freight forwarding, customs, warehousing, and logistics solutions.

This is a remote position.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the import and export market.
- Prospect and engage importers, exporters, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and other potential clients.
- Promote and sell international airfreight, seafreight, customs clearance, warehousing, and logistics services.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and regular client engagement.
- Generate sales leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, client visits, and other business development activities.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
- Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities within the company's CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through cross-selling and upselling additional logistics solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by management.
Educational / Experiential Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in freight forwarding sales or business development.
- Previous freight forwarding or logistics industry experience is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Valid driver's licence is mandatory.
- Relevant qualifications in Sales, Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.
