R.E.D Landscapes is looking for an experienced and reliable Landscape Construction & Maintenance Labourer to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in landscape construction, fencing, civil construction, general construction or similar fields. You’ll be working across commercial development sites throughout Brisbane, with a strong focus on construction and installation work. With other Landscape duties such as planting, mulching, mowing, brush cutting etc.
The Role
Your primary duties will involve landscape construction and associated site works, including:
- Fencing installation and repairs
- Bollard installation
- Installation of landscape structures and site fixtures
- General construction and installation works
- Basic concreting and post-setting
- Site preparation and general labouring
- Planting and garden establishment
- Mulching and general landscaping
- Mowing and brushcutting when required
- Use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools and landscaping equipment
- General site clean-up and assisting with other landscaping duties as required
The role will involve working on commercial development sites, so the ability to work efficiently, follow plans and instructions, and maintain a high standard of workmanship is important.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience or creditation in construction, landscaping, fencing, civil works or a similar trade
- Is confident using hand and power tools
- Has experience with fencing, installation or general construction work
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has a good understanding of safe work practices
- Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Has a current White Card
- Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport

Employment
The position will initially commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position following a successful probationary period.
