Based at our Head Office in Dandenong, Ventura’s Operations Control Centre (OCC) is the nerve centre of our transport network. Our OCC is fitted with state of the art modern and unique technology and has changed the game in our efficiency to support our on-road employees and deal with incidences in real time.
If you’ve worked in high-pressure, real-time environments requiring critical decision-making, this role offers a natural transition—where your ability to stay calm, prioritise, and coordinate under pressure will be highly valued.
As an OCC Supervisor, you will lead and support critical operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and responsive service delivery across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead real-time response to operational and critical incidents
- Support drivers using live operational systems, GPS tracking, and Live CCTV technology.
- Communicate clearly via radio and phone in time-sensitive situations
- Coordinate with emergency services during escalations
- Manage disruptions, delays, and service continuity
- Ensure smooth shift changeovers and operational readiness
- Arrange replacement drivers and vehicles as required
- Monitor network performance and assist in maintaining on-time running
- Provide leadership and operational support to our driver’s.

In addition, we value applicants with:
- Experience: Background in Transport, Defence, or Manufacturing sectors, or experience in operations coordination, management, or scheduling.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, the ability to think quick and coordinate multiple facets of an incident simultaneously.
- Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in technology in general and Microsoft Office.in particular MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a rotating roster (4 AM - 2 AM).
- Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a related field (desirable) and a current Victorian driver’s licence.
Ability to gain police clearance is essential.
