Job Objective:
Plans, designs, organises and oversees the construction and operation of civil engineering projects.
Job Tasks and Duties:
· Job Budget– maintain costs against budgets when on a project
· Resource and materials allocation
· Co-Ordination of Operations at site - (site set up, inductions, purchasing and deliveries)
· Manage workflows and Time sheets
· Staff Management - maintain staff moral and discipline
· Maintain documentation relating to the projects. (Registers, ITP’s, Purchase orders)
· Ensure Client commitments/deadlines are met
· Manage variations
· Ensure invoices are prepared/detailed for accounts
· Ensure staff produce work in a timely manner
· Participate in weekly staff meetings
· General Staff/Ops management tasks
· Prepare invoices - monthly or as project dictated
· Ensure all projects comply with HSE legislation and workplace safety.
· Consult with Staff/Contractors as to their HSE requirements.
· Incident management – assist in investigation of incidents
· Compliance Inspections/Audits – carry out a periodic audit at sites to verify compliance.
· Training – carryout new start induction training.
Pay: $130,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
