We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Accessory Installer to join our team. This is a flexible role that combines practical, on-the-tools installation work with the coordination and day-to-day running of the workshop. It would suit someone who enjoys getting stuck into the work while also taking ownership of how the workshop operates, with genuine scope to grow into management positions.
Key responsibilities
- Install and fit 4x4 accessories and parts to a high standard (bull bars, racks, drawers, lighting, tub canopies, roller shutters, hard lids, side steps, and more)
- Manage the daily flow of the workshop, including scheduling jobs, prioritising work and keeping fitouts on track
- Operate a forklift for loading, unloading and moving stock and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop in line with WHS requirements
- Liaise with customers and the sales team to confirm job details and manage expectations
- Conduct quality checks on completed work before vehicles are returned to customers
- Manage tools, consumables and stock levels, flagging when supplies need reordering
- Support, guide and help train other workshop staff as the team grows
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in an automotive, mechanical, fabrication or accessories fitout environment
- Strong practical skills and a good eye for quality and detail
- The ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as lead a small team
- A reliable, safety-conscious and organised approach to work
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Essential requirements
- Current, valid driver's licence (mandatory)
- Current forklift licence (mandatory)
