Following recent project awards, NRW Civil & Mining is seeking experienced Senior Contracts Administrators to join our project delivery teams. You will manage contracts, commercial risk and subcontractor outcomes across significant civil projects within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Managing project commercial and contractual functions
- Administering head contracts, progress claims, variations and contractual correspondence
- Monitoring costs, forecasts and month-end financial performance
- Identifying commercial risks and supporting practical mitigation strategies
- Preparing and issuing RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers
- Leading commercial evaluations, negotiations and contract preparation
- Managing subcontractor engagement and contractual performance
- Preparing monthly commercial reports for senior leaders
- Supporting the development of contracts administration team members
- Ensuring NRW’s commercial policies and procedures are consistently applied
To be considered, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Proven contracts administration experience within civil construction
- Experience managing head contracts and subcontract agreements
- Strong knowledge of claims, variations, cost control, forecasting and month-end reporting
- Experience in subcontractor procurement and commercial negotiations
- Sound commercial judgement and the ability to identify contractual risk
- An understanding of earthmoving plant and equipment
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
