Key Responsibilities
- Financial Control & Month-End: Lead the end-of-month, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including full balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, develop, and supervise the daily activities of the transactional accounts team (AP, AR, and Payroll).
- Taxation & Compliance: Oversee the accurate and timely preparation and lodgement of monthly Business Activity Statements (BAS), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Payroll Tax, and support corporate Income Tax returns.
- Statutory Reporting: Prepare high-quality statutory financial statements in accordance with AASB and manage the external audit relationship.
Required Profile & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of post-qualification accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
- Credentials: Active CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) status is non-negotiable.
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills (dynamic formulas, complex data manipulation) and deep familiarity with mid-tier to enterprise ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero/Workday).
Pay: $130.00 – $190.00 per hour
