Embrace Community Care is seeking a dedicated and motivated Accommodation Manager to join our team and oversee our NDIS accommodation services across the Hunter Region.

About the Role
As Accommodation Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our accommodation services, supporting participants, Team Leaders and support teams to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operations of NDIS accommodation services.
- Supporting Team Leaders and support teams to achieve high-quality service delivery.
- Ensuring services meet NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators and organisational requirements.
- Promoting person-centred support and positive outcomes for participants.
- Ensuring all participant and service documentation is accurate, current and completed within required timeframes, including progress notes, incident reports, risk assessments, care plans, service agreements and other required records.
- Ensuring monthly reporting, site audits, compliance checks and outstanding actions are completed and appropriately followed up.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, including incident management and reportable incidents.
- Ensuring services remain audit-ready and proactively identifying and addressing compliance gaps.
- Managing staffing, rosters and operational requirements.
- Building strong relationships with participants, families, staff and key stakeholders.
- Monitoring incidents, risks, complaints and service improvement activities.
- Conducting regular visits to accommodation sites across the Hunter Region.
- Identifying operational issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Supporting a positive, safe and inclusive environment.
- Promoting participant choice, dignity, independence, dignity of risk and person-centred practice.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong leadership and communication skills.
- Is organised, proactive and solution-focused.
- Can confidently manage teams and operational responsibilities.
- Has a strong understanding of compliance, quality and documentation requirements.
- Understands NDIS Practice Standards and the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- Is passionate about supporting people with disability.
- Understands the importance of participant choice, dignity, independence, dignity of risk and person-centred practice.
- Can build positive relationships with participants, families, staff and stakeholders.
- Can work independently while contributing to a collaborative leadership team.
- Is willing to travel across Newcastle and the Hunter Region as required.
Experience in the NDIS or disability sector is desirable, but we welcome applicants with strong leadership and people-management skills who are passionate about making a difference.
