As a People & Culture Officer, you will be a trusted first point of contact for employees and leaders, providing timely, accurate, and practical advice across the employee lifecycle. You will deliver solution-focused P&C advice to managers and employees, ensuring all guidance is compliant, accurate, and aligned with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, policies, and organisational standards.
You will contribute to the effective management of administrative workflows, shared inbox enquiries, and day-to-day customer service support, ensuring responsive, professional, and high-quality service delivery across the organisation. You will also build and maintain expertise as a systems administrator for Employment Hero, including designing and optimising workflows, enhancing dashboards and workforce data capabilities, and improving system connectivity and employee engagement.
About you

You bring a balance of technical expertise, customer service, and continuous improvement to everything you do. Ideally you will:
- Be an HRIS systems enthusiast who enjoys the detail, design, optimisation, and oversight of people systems and workflows.
- Enjoy providing responsive, high-quality generalist P&C support to employees and leaders across the organisation.
- Have a strong focus on compliance, data integrity, reporting, and maintaining efficient and effective people processes.
- Be a team player who is willing to roll up your sleeves and support colleagues to achieve shared outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, People & Culture, Business, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
- Foundational knowledge of employment legislation, modern awards, and contemporary People & Culture practices.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (ideally Employment Hero) and confidence in data management, reporting, and systems administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priori-ties.
- A reflective and emotionally intelligent approach, with an openness to innovation, agility, learning, and teamwork.

- This role may require a Working with Children Check and/or Police Check, or ability to obtain.
- Driver’s licence (desirable/role dependent)
