Your New Role
This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role where you’ll own and drive the end-to-end data strategy for our Workday implementation.
You’ll operate at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and governance, bringing together business, technology and external partners to ensure our data is accurate, scalable, secure, and future-ready.
What you'll do:
Lead data strategy and architecture:
- Set the vision for enterprise data architecture across Workday and integrated systems
- Design logical and physical data models across HCM, Payroll and Finance
- Define data standards, governance and quality frameworks to ensure trusted data
- Enable enterprise reporting and analytics, including Workday Prism and BI platforms
Own data migration for a major transformation:
- Lead end-to-end data migration strategy, including mapping, transformation and reconciliation
- Guide ETL design and execution from legacy systems to Workday
- Provide hands-on leadership through complex data challenges and troubleshooting
Drive integration and delivery excellence
- Design secure, scalable data flows across systems and platforms
- Partner closely with Product Owners, Architects and Technology Leaders
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and business outcome
Embed governance, risk and compliance
- Establish and uplift data governance and control frameworks
- Drive compliance aligned to enterprise risk standards
- Build a strong culture of data accountability and quality across stakeholders
How do you exceed our expectations?
You’re a hands-on data leader who combines deep technical expertise with enterprise influence.
- Strong experience in data architecture, modelling and integration
- Proven track record delivering data streams in large-scale transformations (ideally Workday)
- Expertise in data migration, ETL and governance frameworks
- Ability to operate across strategy and delivery, influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and a focus on quality, risk and outcomes
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments is highly regarded
