Maintenance Technician — Ballarat Based (Part‑Time, Travel Required)
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Lamrit Maintenance team. This is a part‑time role, based in Ballarat, and you’ll travel to all stores within our network. Some overnight shifts will be required to complete specific maintenance tasks safely and without disrupting operations.
About the Role
You’ll maintain the overall condition, cleanliness and functionality of our restaurants. This includes general repairs, planned maintenance, equipment cleaning, exterior upkeep and identifying issues before they impact operations or safety.
Key Responsibilities
- General building repairs: plastering, patching, painting, tiling, caulking
- Carpark, drive‑thru and linemarking maintenance
- Exhaust, ventilation and condenser cleaning
- Vat/fryer boil‑outs, grill recoveries, ice machine maintenance
- Preventative maintenance and defect reporting
- Ensuring equipment stays functional and safe
- Maintaining clean, organised tools and work areas
- Following all safety, PPE and chemical‑handling procedures
- Completing some tasks during overnight shifts
- Pressure washing

Pay
Pay will be as per negotiation, based on experience, capability and availability, in accordance with applicable award rates. (Miscellaneous Award )
