Experienced Disability Support Workers (Male & Female)
We're seeking experienced male and female Disability Support Workers, ideally in their 30s or 40s, to join our growing team.
This role is best suited to support workers who are confident supporting participants with mental health conditions and behaviours of concern, and who are passionate about delivering person-centred, strengths-based support.
You'll be supporting participants to:
- Build independence and daily living skills
- Access and participate in their local community
- Develop confidence and capacity to achieve their goals
- Maintain meaningful routines and positive outcomes
What we're looking for:
- Experience supporting people with mental health and behaviours of concern
- A calm, confident and professional approach
- A genuine commitment to empowering participants rather than doing things for them
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and reliable availability is essential, with the ability to work a variety of shifts and travel more than 15 minutes between participant locations when required.
- Relevant qualifications, current driver's licence, reliable vehicle, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
