Maintenance Scheduler (8-Month Contract)
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to join Downer’s Industrial & Energy business in Western Australia on a 8 -month contract . Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide planning and scheduling expertise across major maintenance, shutdown, brownfield and construction projects.
Working closely with operations, finance, procurement, commercial and project controls teams, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, monitoring project performance, forecasting resource requirements and providing critical reporting to support successful project execution.
Leveraging your Primavera P6 expertise, you'll play a key role in identifying schedule risks, analysing critical paths, monitoring progress and supporting project teams with data-driven insights that enable informed decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex, high-value projects while working alongside experienced project delivery professionals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and maintenance activities.
- Monitor project progress, perform schedule analysis and identify critical path risks, recovery opportunities and forecasting requirements.
- Manage earned value reporting, including SPI, CPI, EV, PV and AC performance metrics.
- Produce weekly and monthly project reports, dashboards and performance analytics using Primavera P6, Power BI and Excel.
- Support project teams through resource planning, schedule reviews, forecasting workshops and client reporting requirements.
