Kitchen Hand – Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, benches, and storage spaces
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (e.g., peeling, chopping, portioning)
Receiving and storing deliveries properly
Ensuring all hygiene and food safety standards are followed
Taking out rubbish and keeping waste areas tidy
Full working rights in Australia (38 + hours a week)
Should be able to work on weekends
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
Physical fitness (ability to stand for long periods and lift items)
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential
