About the Role
Step into a key leadership role in the perioperative bay unit. You’ll support safe, high quality care, grow confident teams and help shape day to day operations. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll keep care consistent, staff supported and the unit running smoothly.
Duties
- Lead safe, patient focused nursing care
- Support staff growth, feedback and guidance
- Coordinate rosters, leave and daily allocation
- Drive practice change and care consistency
- Assist recruitment, performance and attendance
- Help manage supplies, resources and budgets
About You
You’re a confident registered nurse ready to step into leadership. You bring sound clinical judgement, a calm approach and a genuine drive to support teams and safe care.
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration or eligibility
- Experience in perioperative care settings
- Confidence supporting teams and daily unit operations
- Clear communicator who works well across disciplines
- Strong grasp of safety, quality and risk principles
