Soho on Miller in North Sydney is looking for an experienced Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team.
We are a busy local café serving high-quality coffee, breakfast, brunch, and lunch. We need someone who is fast on their feet, reliable, and confident handling both specialty coffee service and busy front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee & Beverages: Operating the coffee machine during peak periods, dialing in, texturing milk to high standards, and preparing cold drinks (juices, smoothies).
- Front of House: Greeting customers, taking orders accurately via POS, explaining menu items, and managing table service.
- Floor Operations: Running food and coffees, clearing/resetting tables quickly, and maintaining FOH cleanliness.
- Teamwork: Working closely with the kitchen and floor team to maintain fast, smooth service during high-volume rushes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barista and Café All-Rounder in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid working knowledge of specialty coffee, extraction, and milk texturing techniques.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, energetic attitude.
- Strong multitasking ability with high attention to detail under pressure.
- Punctual, reliable, and available for early morning starts and weekend shifts.
