- Position Trainer & Assessor
- Position Status: Full Time/Part Time/Contract
- Position Location: At Perth Campus
- Scheduled Days of Work: Monday – Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm
Key Competencies of the Role:
- Qualification: At least to the level of the qualification being delivered ;
- TAE40122, TAE40116 (plus required upgrades), or equivalent
- Relevant Community Services qualification at Diploma level or higher
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in the Community Services sector post-qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience delivering and assessing Community Services qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Standards for RTOs and compliance requirements
- Ability to facilitate both face-to-face and online delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training and conduct assessment according to the requirements of the units of competency in the relevant qualification and training package;
- Use of various modes of delivery, including work-based training;
- Apply a range of learning methodologies to deliver training;
- Support, mentor and coach learners to achieve learning outcomes;
- Plan and conduct industry excursions and guest speaker sessions;
- Participate in assessment and evidence validation sessions;
- Assure training and assessment practices meet the requirements of the relevant training package, principles of assessment, rules of evidence and, where relevant, regulatory requirements;
- Produce and maintain training and assessment records as per the organisational guidelines and deadlines;
- Follow organisational standards, guidelines and policies and procedures;
- Maintain your vocational competence and industry currency;
