About the opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced forward-thinking Aged Care Operational Performance & Analytics Manager to join our Healthy Ageing team. Reporting to the General Manager Strategy & Business Improvement- Healthy Ageing, you will play a critical role in driving workforce efficiency, roster optimisation, and care minute compliance across both residential and home care services. The role partners with Operations, Finance and Rostering teams to enhance operational performance, financial sustainability, and quality care outcomes. The role provides strategic oversight of workforce models, rostering practices, and performance analytics across services, ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance and funding frameworks. The role also leads reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to support consistent, high-quality care delivery across all services
The role is accountable for monitoring and improving:
Care minute compliance (AN-ACC and regulatory requirements)
Workforce productivity and efficiency
Roster structure and sustainability
Financial performance linked to workforce deployment
Occupancy trends and service demand impacts
Working across the Healthy Ageing portfolio, you will deliver actionable insights, drive improvement initiatives, and support executive decision making through robust evidence-based analytics.
You will have:

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Strategic workforce planning and performance management expertise
Advanced stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across multidisciplinary teams
Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
Strong understanding of aged care funding models and compliance frameworks
Demonstrated change management and continuous improvement capability
Advanced proficiency in workforce management and rostering systems
Experience with reporting tools and dashboard development
Strong data analysis and financial modelling capabilities
What you’ll bring:
To thrive in this role, you will have:
A relevant qualification in Health, Business, Finance, Workforce Planning or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Extensive experience within aged care across both residential and home care environments
Demonstrated experience in workforce optimisation, rostering, and operational performance analysis
Strong understanding of AN-ACC funding, care minutes, and regulatory compliance requirements
Solid understanding of home care scheduling, utilisation, and workforce modelling
Proven experience working across multi-site operations in complex service environments
Project management experience, with the ability to lead and deliver improvement initiatives
