Location: Southern suburbs (e.g. Marion, Hallett Cove, Noarlunga, Christies Beach & surrounds)
Pay: Depedending on contract type (part-time or casual) Approx $29.06 (base - Part-time) –$36.33/hr (base - casual), SCHADS Home Care – Disability Level 2, paid at or above award (tiered progression based on performance and responsibilities)

I’m Able Support Network provides in‑home and community‑based NDIS support across Adelaide.
Our mantra is “I’m Able” – for participants, families, and staff. We face problems early, look for solutions, and then do the work.
We’re looking for support workers who want ongoing participants and regular weekly shifts, not just last‑minute fill‑ins.
What’s on offer
Casual employment under SCHADS Home Care – Disability (Level 2)
Four clear tiers with pay + responsibility increases:
- Tier 1 – Junior Support Worker (JSW)
- Entry level, learning our standards and systems (SCHADS L2.1).
- Tier 2 – Support Worker (SW)
Core frontline worker once you’ve proven reliability and basic documentation (SCHADS L2.2).
- Tier 3 – Senior Support Worker (SSW)
High‑reliability worker with extra documentation / buddy responsibilities (SCHADS L3.1).Named lead for specific clients, supporting CSMs with simple documents and buddy shifts (SCHADS L3.2).Progression is based on things you control over the last ~90 days: attendance, cancellations, notes on time, documentation and client feedback – plus service needs and assessment by managers.
- Tier 4 – Lead Support Worker (LSW)
Participants mainly within ~20–40 minutes’ drive of your home base in the south
Ongoing training and support from Client Services Managers
Longer‑term potential to discuss part‑time contracts after a period of consistent work (subject to demand)
What you’ll be doing
1:1 supports with NDIS participants at home and in the community
Supporting with:
- Daily living and personal care (depending on client)
- Community access and activities
- Social skills and goal‑based programs
Writing clear, objective shift notes / incident reports
Using apps/systems for rosters and documentation
Communicating changes (cancellations, concerns, incidents) through the right channels
About you
Strong spoken and written English
Reliable, on time, and take ownership of your shifts
Comfortable using phone apps for rosters/notes
Willing to work across southern suburbs and you have:
- Reliable car + current driver’s licence
- Smartphone with data
Must‑haves (or willing to obtain):
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Infection control training
- Working With Children Check (SA) (if wanting to work with children)
- Driver’s licence, car insurance and registration
- Full working rights in Australia
Nice‑to‑haves:
- Experience in disability, mental health, youth work or aged care
- Cert III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health or Community Services
- Experience with autistic people, psychosocial disability, or behaviours of concern
