About the role
The purpose of this role is to perform routine & periodic cleaning duties for external and internal areas of The Prince Charles Hospital car park, support the car park operations team, and ad hoc gardening tasks.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Metro North Health values.
Undertake general and periodic cleaning duties of external areas within The Prince Charles Hospital car park areas within the facility, ensuring that tasks are performed in accordance with Infection Control Guidelines and the Department of Health (DoH) Environmental Cleaning Guidelines. Tasks may include cleaning walls, windows, office toilets, furniture and fittings and sweeping, dusting, vacuuming/blowing, and buffing/scrubbing/mopping etc.
Operate a range of tools/equipment and machinery on which training has been provided and not operated by other specific trade occupations.
Assist other car park facilities within the Metro North Health network to cover leave/absence and perform training of new employees.
