Role: Accounts Services Officer

The position of Account Services Officer – ACCS is a function of the Finance team and operates as part of Goodstart’s Centre Support Office. The team of officers are responsible for ensuring Additional Childcare Subsidy is administered accurately for children and families in line with Goodstart Policies and Procedures and overall legislation. The team also manages the end to end administration of the internal Early Learning Fund, from reviewing applications to ensuring accurate payments.
Working predominantly in the Childcare Management System, the role includes a variety of administrative and support tasks, including the management of all ACCS – Child Wellbeing claims and supporting centres with all types of ACCS funding.
Your Impact:
Ensuring accurate and timely application of all ACCS – Child wellbeing applications, End to End process.
Work alongside internal teams on implementing and the use of use ‘ACCS Discount Code’. Including supporting policies, internal documents, tracking code usage and supporting Centres to reduce barries with families who are in receipt of ACCS funding .
Ensure Centres are supported with guiding materials and advice on the application of ACCS – Temporary Financial Hardship, ACCS – Transition to work and ACCS - Grandparenting
End to End administration of PEA applications, including close management of ACCS applications, exploring all funding options if ACCS is exhausted and management obtaining all Government approvals – ensuring they are stored in a central location.
Establish and maintain customer relationships; liaise with external clients including customers in relation to payments and general enquiries
Communicates and coordinates accounting policies, practices, and procedures with department and company managers and officials, customers, reporting agencies
Stay up to date with all Governing Policies, internally and externally, including referring to Department of Education when clarification is required.

You’ll bring to the table:
Desirable
Previous Early Learning Industry knowledge or experience.
Experience in with Child Care Management System
Outstanding Customer Service and communication skills.
Basic / Intermediate excel skills.
Previous experience/knowledge of SAP.
