We are seeking a skilled Painting Trades Person to join our growing construction and maintenance team. The role involves surface preparation, painting, finishing, and repair work for residential and commercial projects. Applicants should have relevant trade qualifications, attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
The right candidate should have experience, ability, calculation skill and other communication skills to provide high-level of client satisfaction. This is a general scope of duties for the position and duties may vary. The position can include (but is not limited to) any of the responsibilities listed below.
· Erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering.
· Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces.
· Selecting and preparing paints to required colors by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
· Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays.
· Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges.
· Cleaning equipment and work areas.
The successful applicant must have:
- Required relevant Qualification.
- Must Have Minimum 2-3 Years of Experience as a Painting Trades Worker.
- Must have good communication and technical skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
