We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Children's Services team as Early Childhood Educator Trainee. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in high-quality early learning environments while completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
As an Early Childhood Educator Trainee, you will work alongside experienced educators to provide education and care for children from birth to school age. You will support children's learning, wellbeing and development through play-based experiences while developing your professional skills and knowledge.
You will learn to:
- Support the delivery of quality early childhood programs
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families
- Assist with children's daily care routines
- Contribute to safe, engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Promote children's health, safety and wellbeing
- Work in accordance with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Collaborate with educators, teachers and centre leadership teams
We are looking for people who:
- Have a genuine interest in working with children aged 0–5 years
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Are reliable, motivated and committed to learning
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a team
- Show initiative, responsibility and a positive attitude
- Can successfully undertake study requirements while working
- Eligible to participate in a NSW Government-funded traineeship
- Ability to enrol in and successfully complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- NSW Working With Children Check Clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement if over 18 years)

- Package: $49,280.40 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Temporary (19 months) Full Time. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system. Applicants must be available to work a range of shifts between the hours of 6:00am - 7:00pm to support the operational requirements of the centres.
