Description:
Reporting to the Team Leader - Maintenance, you will undertake a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure our environment remains safe, functional and welcoming for residents, visitors and staff. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, takes pride in their work and values making a positive difference in the lives of older people.
Carry out general maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance across the facility.
Assist with repairs to fixtures, fittings and building infrastructure.
Maintain grounds and outdoor areas to a high standard.
Respond to maintenance requests and prioritise tasks appropriately.
Support emergency repair work when required.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team and other departments.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Contribute to a comfortable, homelike environment that supports resident wellbeing and independence.

Previous experience in a general maintenance role.

Essential Requirements
National Police Clearance.
Current Manual Driver's Licence
Desirable
Trade/Construction experience and/or relevant Trade Qualifications
Experience in aged care, retirement living or similar environments.
Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (highly recommended)
