High Reach Forklift Operator - Afternoon Shift
Location: Brisbane Southside
Shift: Monday to Friday | 1:00pm - 9:00pm
Pay Rate: $48.10 per hour
Employment Type: Casual Ongoing
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse team on the afternoon shift.
This position will suit operators who are confident working in a fast-paced distribution environment and have experience operating Crown High Reach forklifts at height.
The role is approximately 60% forklift operation and 40% warehouse duties, requiring candidates who are happy to assist with general warehouse tasks when not on the forklift.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Crown High Reach forklifts up to 9 bays high
- Putaways and replenishment
- Loading and unloading stock
- Wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch
- Manual handling and movement of frozen food products
- General warehouse and housekeeping duties
- Following all site safety procedures and warehouse processes
Requirements
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Proven High Reach forklift experience
- Experience operating Crown High Reach forklifts highly regarded
- Ability to work confidently at heights up to 9 bays
- Comfortable performing manual handling tasks
- Reliable transport and strong attendance record
- Ability to work in a freezer environment
Desirable Experience
- Cold store or freezer warehouse experience
- FMCG, food manufacturing, or distribution centre experience
- RF scanning and warehouse systems experience
