What is the role on offer?
As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll begin your career at the forefront of ground control and mine stability, working under the guidance of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in an active operational environment.
You’ll support the collection, verification, and management of geotechnical data, assisting with underground inspections, ground support performance reviews, instrumentation monitoring, and geotechnical analysis. This exposure will give you a practical understanding of how geotechnical insights directly influence safety, design, and production outcomes.
With ongoing mentoring and structured development, you’ll strengthen your analytical skills, technical knowledge, and site-based confidence across all core areas of geotechnical engineering, laying a solid foundation for long-term career progression in mining.
You can start the process by submitting your resume online through our Graduate & Vacation Student Careers page. From there, your application will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview with Managers from the relevant departments. If you are successful, a member of our Future Talent team will be in touch to organise your pre-employment checks before beginning the onboarding process.
