Commercial Cleaner (Full-time) - Carnes Hill

Pay: $27.08 per hour (weekday base rate), with applicable loadings available depending on the shift worked.

As a trusted, award-winning provider, we partner closely with our clients to deliver consistently high standards and long-term outcomes.The OpportunityReporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services throughout a large retail site. You will help maintain a clean, safe and presentable environment across public areas, amenities and back of house.This is a full-time (38 hours per week) day shift position working from 7am to 3pm, with flexible days considered. No previous commercial cleaning experience is required, as full training will be provided.Key responsibilities include:
- Complete general cleaning duties throughout the site
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and scrub floors
- Clean to a high standard public areas, back-of-house areas and amenities ie. bathrooms and food service areas
- Empty bins, remove rubbish and maintain waste management to a high environment standard
- Respond to spills and complete spot cleaning as required
- Restock toilet paper, soap and other consumables
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
- Follow cleaning procedures, site requirements and safety guidelines
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Report maintenance, safety or cleaning issues to the Area Manager
- Work professionally and respectfully around all site personnel, clients and general public.
Essential Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (Police Check) - issued in the last 3 months
- Appropriate language communication skills to interact with site personnel, clients and general public
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleaning standards
- Ability to follow instructions and site procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and friendly attitude
- Willingness to learn and complete required training
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to safely perform physical cleaning duties
- While previous cleaning experience is favourably considered but not essential.
