Creswick Dental Centre is looking for a reliable, well-presented and professional chairside Dental Assistant to join our small private dental practice.
We are a well-established, non-corporate clinic with a strong focus on patient care, clear communication, infection control and a calm, professional clinical environment.
This role would suit someone who already has dental assisting experience and takes pride in doing the job properly - supporting the dentist chairside, helping patients feel at ease, maintaining good clinical flow, and keeping rooms clean, organised and ready for treatment.
The role involves chairside assisting, room preparation and turnaround, sterilisation and infection control, patient support, stock control, and helping the clinical day run smoothly.
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Warm, polite and professional with patients
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully, especially with older or anxious patients
- Calm, organised and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working in a small team
- Able to follow clinic systems, infection control protocols and presentation standards
- Interested in providing a high standard of patient care
Previous dental assisting experience is strongly preferred, but candidates with the right attributes, professionalism and willingness to learn will also be considered.
Hours
Permanent part-time or full-time position available.
Friday availability is essential. Other hours will be discussed depending on clinic needs and applicant availability.
Pay
$29 – $34 per hour, or more depending on experience.
Above-award rates may be considered for an experienced applicant who is the right fit for the role.
