Following the acquisition of FranchiseLab, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead the growth and success of our FranchiseLab customer base.
FranchiseLab combines more than 30 years of franchise recruitment methodology with a scientifically validated assessment platform that helps franchisors identify, assess and recruit high-quality franchisees. As our Account Manager, you will own the complete customer journey—from prospecting and sales through to implementation, relationship management, renewals and growth.
This role aligns with ANZSCO 225213 – ICT Sales Representative, with a primary focus on promoting, selling and supporting technology-based solutions that improve business performance, workforce capability and franchise network outcomes.
About the Role
This is a true full-cycle commercial role. You will work closely with franchisors, franchise consultants, business owners and industry stakeholders to demonstrate the value of FranchiseLab and Operandio's expanding product suite.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging prospective clients, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating commercial agreements, onboarding customers, and ensuring ongoing utilisation and success of the platform.
You will also serve as a trusted advisor, helping franchisors improve recruitment outcomes, strengthen franchise network performance and make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events and direct outreach.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to franchisors and franchise executives.
- Develop proposals, quotations and commercial agreements.
- Manage the sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to contract execution.
- Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for FranchiseLab customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure customers maximise value from the platform.
- Manage renewals, account growth and retention initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional Operandio solutions where appropriate.
Solution Consulting & Customer Success
- Understand customer business objectives and recruitment challenges.
- Recommend technology solutions that improve franchisee selection outcomes.
- Guide customers through onboarding and implementation activities.
- Deliver training and support to ensure successful adoption.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address issues.
Market & Product Intelligence
- Gather and analyse customer feedback and market trends.
- Provide insights to support product development and innovation.
- Contribute customer success stories, case studies and industry knowledge.
- Represent FranchiseLab and Operandio at industry conferences and events.
About You

Essential Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience selling technology, software or business solutions to organisations.
- Strong account management and customer relationship skills.
- Experience managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to renewal.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to understand business challenges and position technology-based solutions effectively.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Highly Regarded
- Experience in franchising, franchise development or franchise recruitment.
- Knowledge of SaaS, operations management, workforce management or compliance technology.
- Exposure to customer onboarding, implementation or customer success functions.
- Experience working with multi-site, multi-unit or franchise businesses.
