TRAV&CO Building and Maintenance is seeking a reliable and motivated Second Fix Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialise in general building maintenance and refurbishment works across government facilities and residential properties throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines second fix carpentry with general maintenance and labouring duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Second fix carpentry including doors, hardware, cabinetry and fit-outs
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Assisting with demolition and labouring as required
- Working across residential homes, schools, government buildings and other public facilities
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site safety
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to pass and maintain government and site-specific inductions
- Commitment to safe work practices and company procedures
Mandatory Requirements - to be considered for this role you must have the following:
- Experience in second fix carpentry
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencing employment)
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check (if required)
- White Card
- Driver’s Licence
- Working at Heights (preferred, however training will be provided to suitable applicants.)
