Position overview
The ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy (CLGP) is a progressive and newly established College that brings together four world-leading academic schools dedicated to shaping the future of law, governance, regulation, policy and population health. The ANU Crawford School of Public Policy is one of four Schools within CLGP and one of the world’s leading public policy schools. The Crawford School is the University's focal point for contributing to public policy research, education and policy impact. Its graduate programs have trained many of the region’s leaders, and its research has impacted on policy making around the world. Public policy scholarship at Crawford School is characterised by high quality, policy-relevant research across a diverse range of disciplines.
The Crawford School is home to numerous research collaboration and centres, large-scale partnerships with government, and multiple academic departments. They will be committed to excellence in education, have experience in teaching at the postgraduate level, and be motivated by engagement with the practice of public policy. Members of the Crawford School make valuable contributions to the collective aspirations, leadership and governance of the ANU, CLGP and the School through various service activities appropriate to level of appointment. We are seeking to welcome two new colleagues, with appointment to be made at either Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) depending on attributes and experience. Following appointment, our newest colleagues will join one of our three academic departments, depending on their disciplinary expertise.

Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate/s will hold a PhD in public policy or a cognate discipline in the social sciences. We seek candidates who have familiarity with policy issues in the Asia-Pacific and/or Australia and have an emerging or established research agenda or policy engagement in the region.
Successful candidates will be expected to reside in Canberra.
