As a Sales Executive in Geoimage, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through sales of the company’s technology products and services. You will need to develop and implement sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with customers and international partners, as well as collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve the company’s revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key decision-makers
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s customer base
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers
- Negotiate and close sales deals, including pricing and contract terms
- Manage and report on sales pipeline and activity to other member of the senior management team
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy and tactics
- Maintain and develop relationships with our international solutions partners and revenues
Actvities
- Set individual sales/BD targets with the General Manager
- Liaise with other internal teams to ensure achievement of company objectives
- Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
- Investigate lost projects and customer accounts and provide feedback to the senior management team with recommendations for service/product improvement
- Track, collate and interpret sales/BD figures
- Assist in forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
- Enter new details on leads/jobs into the CRM
- Update entries in the CRM in a timely manner
- Assist in developing pricing schedules and rates
- Control expenses and monitor budgets
- Conduct market research and competitor / customer analysis
- Analyse data to identify BD opportunities
- Assist in the development of promotional ideas and material
- Attend trade meetings and industry conventions – networking focus
- Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts
- Proactively identify new leads
- Proactively provide input into continuous improvement opportunities for internal processes in the area of sales
- Develop the strategy around our satellite imagery enhancement business
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and internal teams
- Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, such as CRM systems, sales automation software, and analytics tools
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of satellite sensors, their specifications and uses applied to real-world situations
- Ability to listen to clients and understand their business requirements to a point where you can recommend the most appropriate satellites products and/or services

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in B2B sales in the technology industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales and/or Business Development
- Proven hunter BD skills and strategic planning ability
- Previous experience within the geospatial industry
