Sales and Marketing Officer – Asian Market
Minimum Base Salary + Uncapped Performance-Based Earnings
Wattle College (RTO 45676 | CRICOS 03905A) is a Melbourne-based provider of ELICOS and VET courses. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Officer – Asian Market to generate student enrolments and expand our presence across key Asian markets.
This is a performance-focused position offering a minimum base salary together with attractive earnings linked to successful student enrolments and sales results. The incentive arrangement may be calculated as a fixed amount per successful enrolment, a percentage-based payment, or a combination of both.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate student leads, applications, and confirmed enrolments
- Promote Wattle College’s ELICOS and VET courses across Asian markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with education agents, students, community groups, and referral partners
- Identify and onboard new education agents and business partners
- Conduct regular agent meetings, presentations, training sessions, and follow-ups
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve enrolment targets
- Follow up prospective students and support them throughout the application process
- Promote the college through digital marketing, social media, events, and community engagement
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular performance reports
- Gather market intelligence, competitor information, and feedback from agents and students
About You
- Proven ability to generate leads, convert opportunities, and achieve targets
- Good understanding of Asian student markets
- Existing relationships with education agents or student communities will be highly regarded
- Strong sales, negotiation, networking, and relationship-management skills
- Self-motivated, confident, and comfortable working in a performance-driven role
- Proficiency in English and an Asian language is highly desirable
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred
- Experience using CRM or student-management systems is advantageous
