NoSound Acoustics & Constructions is a growing Melbourne-based commercial construction company delivering projects across Victoria.
We specialise in commercial fit-outs, acoustic installations, architectural finishes, external cladding systems, framing, plastering and general construction works.

The Role – Something Different
We are currently looking for experienced Commercial Carpenters / Installers to join our team for a specialised commercial fit-out program across Melbourne.
This isn't your typical carpentry role.
The work involves the installation of specialised modular and proprietary fit-out systems within large-scale commercial and industrial environments.
It's hands-on, fast-moving and system-based work that suits someone who enjoys building, installing and problem-solving rather than doing the same framing or general carpentry work every day.
You don't need previous experience with the particular systems we install — we can teach the right person.
Your work may include:
- Installation of specialised modular fit-out systems
- Working with steel, aluminium, timber and other components
- Setting out and installation from construction drawings
- Doors, hardware and associated fixtures
- Architectural and protective finishes
- General commercial installation works
- Working through structured installation sequences
- Coordinating with our team and other trades on site
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Qualified Carpenter or highly experienced commercial installer
- Minimum 4 years construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Strong understanding of commercial construction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- White Card
- Driver's Licence
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in workmanship
Highly Regarded
Experience in any of the following:
- Commercial fit-outs
- Shopfitting
- Partition systems
- Steel or aluminium installation
- Architectural installations
- External cladding systems
- Doors and hardware
- Acoustic wall and ceiling systems
- Leading small teams or supervising work areas

Who This Role Suits
This role would suit someone who has spent years in construction but is looking for something a little different from traditional carpentry.
You might be a carpenter, shopfitter, commercial installer or construction all-rounder who is mechanically minded, can read plans, enjoys problem-solving and likes seeing a project come together quickly.
We're looking for people who take ownership of their work and want to build a long-term career with a growing company.

Pay: $32.00 – $50.00 per hour
