Physiotherapists (contractor)
Looking for experienced mobile physiotherapists in: Redland Council | Logan Council | Sunshine Coast | Gold Coast
You must possess the following:
● Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy
● Full AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist
● National Police Check, First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
● Professional and Public Indemnity Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain)
● 3+ years of experience in both private practice and in aged care settings.
● A current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring the vehicle is appropriately insured
● Willingness to carry necessary equipment in your vehicle
● Previous home visit experience will be advantageous
You will demonstrate the following:
● Able to work independently and communicate effectively
● Using hands-on techniques to improve movement, improve acute/chronic pain and stiffness, promote the healing process and improve quality of life at home
● Able to provide tailored home exercise program for each client Able to provide instructions and make recommendations on equipments (e.g walking aids)
● Strong communication skills
● Excellent time management
● Committed to providing an outstanding quality of care to your clients.
You will also be thorough with your progress notes which are ready to be presented when requested.
