The Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide vital day-to-day support to our participants, tailoring your approach to their unique goals and needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily Living Support: Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and domestic tasks.
- Community Participation: Accompanying participants to social outings, appointments, recreational activities, and hobbies.
- Skill Development: Empowering participants to build independent living skills and achieve their personal NDIS goals.
- Emotional & Social Support: Building strong, respectful, and trusting relationships with participants and their families.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate and timely case notes and progress reports.
What We Are Looking For

- A Caring Mindset: Genuine empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Qualifications: Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services (highly regarded, but not mandatory if you have equivalent experience).
- Compliance & Checks:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
- Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
