About us:
What began in 1910 as a small co-operative of just three pharmacies has grown into Wesfarmers Health—a leading Australian organisation in health, beauty, and wellness.
Today, Wesfarmers Health proudly employs over 3,600 team members, all committed to delivering accessible, innovative, and trusted health and beauty services to Australians nationwide, across retail, medi-aesthetics, digital health, and wholesale and supply chain operations.

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager – Medicinal, this is a highly commercial role with full P&L accountability and the opportunity to shape the future of Health Management at Priceline.
As the Category Manager, you will develop and execute a customer-led category strategy that supports Priceline's health vision while delivering sales, revenue and margin growth. You will partner with suppliers, internal stakeholders and franchise partners to create compelling category plans, drive innovation, and strengthen Priceline's position as a destination for health.
Other responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and execution of the Health Management category strategy, delivering growth through customer insights, innovation and differentiated ranging.
- Own the category P&L, driving budgeted and above-budget sales, revenue and margin outcomes.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships and lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) negotiations that deliver mutual growth and long-term value.
- Analyse customer, loyalty and market data to identify trends, unlock growth opportunities and enhance category performance.
- Drive Private Label growth and targeted innovation initiatives that increase basket size and customer engagement.
- Lead range reviews and promotional planning, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and a clear point of difference in the market.
Partner with Digital, Marketing and Loyalty teams to deliver impactful omnichannel and health-focused customer experiences.
-
If you're passionate about retail health, commercially astute, and excited by the opportunity to influence strategy across one of Australia's leading pharmacy retailers, we'd love to hear from you.

- Demonstrated experience as a Category Manager or Buying/Merchandise Manager in retail, pharmacy or FMCG
- Full P&L accountability, supplier JBP negotiation and range review experience required
- Health, pharmacy or OTC category experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth through customer-led category strategy and supplier partnership
- Strong commercial acumen: retail margin mechanics, trade investment, promotional ROI and working capital
- Analytical capability: draws insights from complex customer, loyalty and market data to drive decisions
- Strategic thinker with an eye for innovation and market differentiation
- Experience with omnichannel or loyalty-led category management
