Victoria By The Park are a small aged care facility overlooking the beautiful Hopetoun Gardens in Elsternwick, Melbourne.

Due to growing occupancy Victoria By The Park are looking for personal carers to join our team on a Casual basis, working across a range of shifts in the morning, afternoon and evening.
About the Role
Working as part of team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals, you will make a positive impact on the life of our residents with your compassionate, supportive approach that empowers our residents' choices and independence.
· Delivering the best possible care to our residents to maintain our residents’ wellbeing, comfort and dignity.
· Supporting with daily living tasks such as showering and meals, etc
· Manual handling
· Following direction from the Registered Nurse/s and Managers
About You
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate;
- Compassion and have genuine empathy with our residents.
- Able to work cooperatively within a team and with a wide range of people.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, with good organisation and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Use initiative and deal with unexpected situations.
- Positive and friendly personality with a passion for assisting our residents to maintain their quality of life.
- Aware of Work Health and Safety and Infection Control Procedures·
- Have a sound understanding of the Aged Care Standards.
- All candidates must have a Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or have completed their aged care placement of their Bachelor of Nursing. Previous experience in residential aged care and a current NDIS Worker Screening Check is essential for all positions.
