We currently require: Industrial Spray Painter
We have excellent opportunities available for Industrial Spray Painters to join our team full time including opportunities for apprentices to undertake a 4 year apprenticeship.
Your duties will vary based on job classification but may include:
- Paint preparation, mix paints and coatings according to specifications, ensuring proper consistency.
- Surface preparation of barrels, new Agi/barrel parts and agitators this includes cleaning, sanding, masking and priming as necessary. This may involve using solvents, abrasives, and other tool to ensure the surface is free from contaminants and smooth for painting.
- Painting barrels, new Agi/barrel parts and agitators.
- Clean and maintain spray painting equipment, including guns, hoses, compressors, PPE, and filters, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Adhere to AADS OHS and MSDS safety protocols and regulations governing the use of paint materials and spray-painting equipment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as respirators, gloves, and goggles, and follow proper ventilation procedures to minimize exposure to hazardous fumes and chemicals.
- Inspect painted surfaces for flaws, irregularities, or defects, and make any necessary adjustments or touch-ups to ensure AADS quality standards are met.
- Follow instructions and perform tasks given by supervisors/managers.
The successful applicant will work with other highly experienced and skilled painters including other trade professionals.
This is a full time position, with the possibility of overtime. Position is available immediately.
