What would I be doing?
As a Program Facilitator, you will facilitate Support in Centre (SIC) group based programs supporting people with a disability to achieve their goals through participation in meaningful learning, life skills and leisure activities at the centre and within the local community.
This could include:

Assist the client/s to achieve a valued lifestyle similar to others within the community.

Overseeing the daily coordination of programs, including care plans, documentation, and staffing requirements.

Act as a key contact for clients and staff, providing guidance and support on operational matters.
- Empowering the client/s to develop their interests, skills, and talents while encouraging meaningful community participation.

Developing and designing a diverse range of recreational, social and therapeutic programs tailored to the clients' interests, abilities, and preferences.

Overseeing the execution of planned activities and events. Ensure that the activities are well-organised, safe, and inclusive, allowing all clients to engage to the best of their abilities.

What you’ll need

Strong understanding of NDIS.
-
Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement and initiative.

The ability to effectively monitor, support and supervise staff.
-
Demonstrated skills in the development and implementation of flexible, innovative centre-based day programs.

Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience working with and supporting people with disability.

A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.

A commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes.

Great listening and respectful communication skills.
