What you'll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide high quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring patients receive safe, evidence-based care in accordance with professional standards and individual care plans.
Deliver direct patient care within your scope of practice under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
Monitor, assess and respond to changing patient needs while maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment
Maintain professional standards through ongoing education, skill development and evidence-based practice
Promote a safe, respectful and supportive environment for patients, families, carers and colleagues

Essential Criteria
Selection Criteria
Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Enrolled Nurse in applying these principles.
Demonstrated recent nursing experience in acute care or an emergency department.
