About the Role
We are seeking an experienced regional Lifestyle Services Specialist to take on a full-time role supporting our network of 36 Residential Aged Care Homes located across Victoria, Western Australia and South Australia. You will be an integral member of our Customer and Communications team.

You will be the advocate for the Lifestyle Services Framework, responsible for providing direct support to the Home’s lifestyle services team, using a continuous improvement approach to ensure best practice in program delivery and ensuring quality customer experiences in a sustainable way.
Responsibilities include:
Driving the Lifestyle Framework, ensuring to continually maintaining up to date industry knowledge to inform currency and relevancy of the program
Supporting the development of creative and innovative programming approaches to ensure residents are offered quality, meaningful leisure programs activities and opportunities that enhance their quality of life
Provide mentoring and coaching to Lifestyle Services Coordinators/Assistants to optimise productivity and efficiencies
Assume the role of the Lifestyle Service Coordinator where assigned and be accountable to the homes lifestyle services department continuity throughout recruitment and leave.
Ensure all systems, policies and processes are in place to support and monitor Homes in achieving consumer experience ratings goals and meet all regulatory compliance standards and legislative requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:
Diploma / Degree in Diversional Therapy or Diploma in Lifestyle / Leisure or Cert IV in Leisure & Health
Moderate experience in leisure and lifestyle program customisation in aged care or other human services or healthcare field
Clear and adaptable communication style; able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
Excellent computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Intranet) and organisational software products.
Ability to travel intra or interstate with overnight stays
Driver’s license
