About the Role
We are looking for motivated and flexible Casual Project Merchandisers to join our team across various locations throughout Brisbane QLD.
This varied role combines regular retail merchandising with project-based work across Bunnings and Independent Retailers. Project work may include store relays, display installations, new product launches, promotional setups and other short-term client campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a professional and friendly manner, and the ability to work independently while adapting to different stores, clients and projects.
Key Responsibilities (depending on the role at the time)
- Merchandise stock and maintain clean, professional product displays.
- Check stock levels and place product orders where required.
- Complete store relays, product resets and new display installations.
- Support new product launches and special client projects.
- Build positive relationships with store team members.
- Promote our clients’ products and identify additional display opportunities.
- Complete surveys, reports and photographic evidence through company systems.
- Travel between stores within your allocated area.
- Follow all store, client and workplace safety requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Previous merchandising, retail, project or hardware experience is highly regarded.
- Professional presentation and strong customer service skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude and reliable work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications for reporting.
- Flexibility to work across different stores, clients and project requirements.
- Physically fit and comfortable undertaking an active role involving walking, bending and lifting.

Key Requirements
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Ability and willingness to travel between stores within your allocated area.
- Capacity to lift approximately 15kg independently and participate in two-person lifts when required.
- Willingness to complete on-the-job training and required store inductions.
- This role requires flexible availability, as work may be scheduled during the day, at night and on weekends, depending on client and project requirements.
On-the-job training will be provided, along with attractive casual rates and opportunities for ongoing work and career development.
