Position Purpose
The Disability Inclusion Administration role provides high-quality administrative and coordination support to assist the school in implementing the Victorian Department of Education's Disability Inclusion reforms. The role supports the effective identification, planning, documentation and monitoring of reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices for students with disability and additional learning needs.
The position works collaboratively with school leadership, teachers, Education Support staff, families, allied health professionals and external agencies to ensure that student information, Disability Inclusion processes and supporting documentation are accurately maintained and appropriately communicated.
Disability Inclusion Administration

Coordinate and maintain administrative processes associated with Disability Inclusion.

Support the collection, organisation and secure storage of student information and supporting documentation.

Maintain accurate records relating to student adjustments, learning needs, assessments, meetings and Disability Inclusion processes.

Assist with preparation and collation of documentation for Disability Inclusion processes and reviews.

Monitor key timelines, actions and follow-up requirements.

Support the school to maintain accurate records and evidence of reasonable adjustments provided to students.
Student Support and Reasonable Adjustments

Assist staff to document and monitor reasonable adjustments for students with disability.

Support the development and maintenance of student adjustment profiles, Individual Education Plans and other relevant documentation.

Assist teachers and Education Support staff to ensure adjustments are consistently documented and communicated.

Support the monitoring and review of adjustments in collaboration with relevant staff and families.

Assist in identifying gaps in documentation, evidence or implementation of adjustments.
Administrative Support

Provide general administrative support to the school's Disability Inclusion and student support functions.

Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars for relevant staff and professionals.

Prepare correspondence, forms, reports and meeting documentation.

Assist with organisation of student support files and documentation.

Support administrative processes associated with funding, resourcing and student support where required.
