Casual | Registered Nurse | Greystanes
Our Greystanes facility is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to work across AM. PM and Night shifts.
What You’ll Do:

Carry out initial and ongoing assessment, planning, and management of nursing care for residents

Develop personal care plans to ensure residents’ individual needs are identified and met, and monitor any changes in care plans
-
Participate in quarterly care plan evaluations, or more frequently as needed
-
Ensure all documentation required for quality care is prepared, maintained, monitored, evaluated, and up to date in accordance with SCC policies and procedures

Ensure completion and accuracy of all ACFI claims

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).

Previous experience in residential aged care is desirable.

Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

Sound knowledge of medication management and clinical documentation.

Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.
-
A commitment to person-centred care and maintaining residents' dignity, choice and independence.

Ability to work independently and make appropriate clinical decisions.

A positive, professional and respectful approach to residents, families and colleagues.

Current police check and other employment screening requirements as applicable.
