About the Role
We are seeking experienced, reliable, and calm female support workers (gender preference due to client personal care needs) to provide 1:1 support for a participant living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Kincumber.
Roster & Shift Pattern (24/7 Support)
- Day: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Weekend (Saturday): 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Inactive Overnight: 10:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care, hoist transfers, repositioning, and skin integrity/pressure care
- Implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSP) using trauma-informed, calm communication in a low-stimulus environment
- Assist with mealtime safety and daily living tasks
- Maintain active supervision for safety, fall risks, and impulsive movements
- Record precise progress notes and documentation
Requirements
- Cert III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check (WWCC), and National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certifications
- Valid Driver’s Licence with a reliable, insured vehicle
- Experience in high-intensity supports, complex needs, developmental delay, or mental health
- Strong ability to remain patient, calm, and strictly follow step-by-step strategies
