Registered Nurse (RN) / Enrolled Nurse (EN) – Busy Medical Practice
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our friendly and professional team in a busy, well-established medical practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced primary healthcare environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role
The successful applicant will work closely with our doctors and administrative team to provide comprehensive nursing support and patient care. Responsibilities may include:
- Patient assessment and triage
- Chronic disease management and care planning
- Immunisations and vaccine management
- Wound care and dressings
- ECGs, spirometry, and other clinical procedures
- Health assessments and preventative health initiatives
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Infection control and accreditation activities
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Patient education and health promotion
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current CPR certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and computer systems
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in general practice or primary healthcare
- Experience with chronic disease management
- Immunisation certification
- Knowledge of Best Practice Software
- Accreditation and quality improvement experience
